Description
DOTP is a a good main plasticizer of PVC plastics. Compared to iso-octyl phthalate ester (DOP), it offer better heat , anti-freezing, not volatile, anti-taking and flexibility. Thus, it shows excellent durability, resistance to soapy water, and low-temperature softness. Because of low volatility, can be used to produce wire and cable working in low temperature, and is widely used in 70 ° C -resisting cable (Standards of International Electrotechnical Commission) and other soft PVC products. Besides, it also can be used in leatherette and film.With good compatibility, it also can be used as plasticizer of PE alcohol butyral, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, cellulose nitrate and synthetic rubber. It also can be used as coating additives,lubricant of precision instruments, lubricant additives, or softener of paper.

DOTP could be used as the main plasticizer for PVC product manufacture.
Good heat and electrical property make it an ideal plasticizer in PVC cable sheath and artificial leather manufacture.
With excellent intermiscibility, DOTP could also be used in acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral , chemigum , nitrocellulose to improve product morphotropy.
